Cours de premiers soins et RCR

Scuba Diving is... Adventure. Adrenaline. Exploration. Freedom. Total!

Total Diving is specialized in scuba diving... So, most people you will meet in our CPR and First Aid training courses are divers. However, it is really a general public training program. Bring your friends and family! If you need emergency first aid one day, you'd want them to be properly trained.

Having up-to-date CPR and First Aid training is one of the pre-requisite to the PADI Rescue Diver course as well as the professional level courses of divemaster and instructor. By "up-to-date", we mean that you've done or refreshed your training in the last 24 months.

Total Diving offers this training from the Emergency First Responder (EFR) organization with state of the art multimedia course material.

What Will I Do?

The Total Diving CPR & First Aid training program uses an integrated approach covering primary care (CPR or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) and secondare care (First Aid) for both adults, children and infants.

There are now a lot of scuba diving and snorkeling adventures designed for kids. Therefore, it is expected of a rescue diver or dive professional to be able to deal with emergency first aid for people of all ages.

Are there any special requirements?

Although you will mainly encounter people taking these first aid courses as part of their rescue diving training, our CPR & First Aid training program is really opened to all. No minimum age. No need to be a diver!

What do I need to start?

You need to get the 2 EFR manuals: One for adults and one for children and infants. It is important that you read these manuals ahead of time so that we can focus on hands-on practice during the course. We will provide you with everything else, including barriers and gloves.

However, if you are registered in the Total Rescue Diver program, all your course manuals are included.

How long will it take?

As long as you have read your course manuals ahead of time, we will need a day and a half over a week-end to complete the various exercices and scenarios. We usually spend a full day on Saturday and half a day on Sunday.

Please check the schedule on the right margin of this page. And if it doesn't fit in your busy agenda, just talk to us and we'll work out a solution with you.

How much is the course?

149$ for the entire adult, children and infant program.

However, we suggest that you have a look at our Total Rescue Diver program which includes this CPR and First Aid training.
