Fun Facts & Info

We can issue you a receipt for tuition fees, because:

• Total Diving Montreal is a Career Development Center;
• we have been designated by the Quebec (accreditation number 05-09-3000) and Canadian (7009-11436) Governments as an educational institution which enable students to acquire skills needed for an occupation.

However, there are additional requirements that you must meet to claim this amount on your annual personal income tax report:

• You must include your invoices with your income tax report in addition to the income tax receipt that you receive from us.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must have taken these Total Diving courses solely in order to acquire or improve knowledge and skills required for your job as an employee, a professional (like an active scuba diving instructor) or an entrepreneur.
• You must have paid tuition or examination fees totalling more than 100$ for a given year.

When in doubt, consult your accountant!

We issue these receipts only upon request, once a year, in February, for the previous calendar year.
