Blackbeard: May 5 to 11, 2007 |

With about 100 000 square miles of tropical Atlantic Ocean and 3 200 small islands and cays scattered throughout, The Bahamas sheer geographic scope makes it a virtual live-aboard playground. On a live-aboard like the Blackbeard or the Aquacat, you can go explore remote areas not accessible by the traditional day boat diving from a land-based resort. Now... Imagine... Diving the Bahamas while... Sailing them as well! This is exactly what Total Diving offers you with the Blackbeard cruise. Twice the fun at half the cost! Our live-aboard is a custom built, wide beam, 65 foot sloop specifically designed from the keel up for handling about 20 divers. It might feels a bit like "camping at sea" but imagine the fun on that sailboat! There is no itinerary - we'll just sail wherever weather, diving conditions and friendships lead us! For the adrenaline-seekers, there is even the possibility of a shark feeding dive, if your heart can sustain the excitement! Our departure date of May 5 makes it the perfect trip to take right after the exams at McGill or Condordia, and just before you start that long boring Summer job! Check the details of this trip in the right margin of this page. Of course, you also have all the regular reasons for going on an exotic dive trip with Total Diving... Time to get wet! Ion
