Total Scuba Guide for scuba diving information on scuba diving equipment, scuba courses and dive trips

In our dive shop and on our online shopping website, we were always facing the same "general" questions: What do I "need" to start scuba diving? How do I learn to dive? What scuba diving courses should I take first? What dive gear do I need? Should I rent scuba equipment or buy my own dive gear? Should I do the PADI Advanced Open Water scuba diver course right after the PADI Open Water diver course or later? Where should I go for my first underwater adventure? Is a dive trip on a live-aboard for me? What is technical diving? How do I start in technical diving? What should I do if I want to work in the dive industry? How do I become a dive professional?

We really couldn’t cover all of that general scuba diving information on our shopping website designed to let you select specific scuba gear, courses and trips.

We needed a general "Scuba Guide" to serve as a reference for general information on scuba diving equipment, trips and courses.

That’s how the Total Scuba Guide was born.

PADI courses at the CEPSUM, University of Montreal

At our Total Diving center in Montreal, we have our own on-site in-door pool and a few multimedia classrooms... And we'd love to see you there!

However... If it is more convenient for you to start your PADI Open Water Diver course at the CEPSUM of the University of Montreal, well... We'd be happy to see you there as well!

Our team of PADI instructors are in charge of the PADI scuba diving courses in the beautiful 15 feet deep pool of the University of Montreal.

Please note, though, that all PADI courses at the CEPSUM are in French.
